Only beaten 2L in to fifth on debut over C&D last time out. Shaped as if a little bit further would be ideal in time, but she's not ruled out here over the same trip.
Makes her debut with a good looking pedigree, being by Invincible Spirit out of an Argentine Group 1 winning mare. Lines up for some top connections and has a great chance of winning on debut.
Didn't show too much on debut at Newmarket in October. Steps down in trip here and tries a synthetic surface for the first time from a good draw, but a big step forward still still be needed.
Ran a much more appealing race last time out when third at Chelmsford following a forgettable first couple of runs. Will need to make a step up to more challenging company here, but she remains somewhat unexposed.
Has run two solid races in defeat in a pair of maidens so far and this looks to be a much more suitable assignment. The step down in trip should suit given the way she faded over further last time out.
Ran a fair race when not beaten far at Kempton in September. Could go close here if able to build on that victory in any respect, especially if the Tapeta surface suits.
Well beaten on debut in a 5f maiden at Lingfield last June, won by the smart Mrs Danvers. This should be an easier task but she has a long absence to overcome.
Cost £3,000 as a two year old. Pedigree isn't the most eye-catching, but there is at least plenty of winning form in it, some of it over this trip. Watch the market.
Forecasts
Qatari Riyals (9/4), Historic Event (9/4), Miss Patience (11/4), Exquisite Ruby (5/1), Paquita Bailarina (16/1), Play With Me (50/1), Sweet Amazement (66/1), Tisa River (80/1)
A chance is taken on HISTORIC EVENT, making her debut for the powerful Godolphin/Saeed bin Suroor operation. It is always difficult to tell how a young horse will fare on their first racecourse appearance but the selection's pedigree is very interesting and she goes in a maiden that may not take that much winning. If she fails to live up to her Group 1 pedigree, Qatari Royals could pick up the pieces having run a fair race in third on debut, with improvement possibly to come on the Tapeta, with Play With Me maybe next best with the benefit of a couple of runs.
