Some good-looking form figures next to his name, but a lucky winner at Towcester two starts ago when main rival made a bad mistake at the last (when he looked beat) and couldn't follow up at Market Rasen next time, looking less than cooperative at times. Has been found another suitable opportunity but no penalty kick.
Would most likely have been placed at Taunton last time out but for a final-flight fall, and in truth isn't always the most fluent at his hurdles, but looks to hold a good chance on his win at Exeter in November (good ground) and this, Top Ville Ben aside, is not a strong event.
In good hands but has shown next to nothing in four starts to date, and can't seriously be considered.
Debut for new yard today and although he showed a bit of promise on his debut at Ayr for James Ewart, looks one for handicaps further down the line unless market says otherwise.
Only marginal improvement on third start for the yard, but that's not saying much, and looks to have too much on his plate here.
Made a decent enough debut at Towcester in February, finishing fourth in a bumper but pulled too hard last time out and was well beaten. Better ground here may help, but needs to settle better before being considered.
Point-to-point form hard to weigh up, but did at least win one at Bandon and has joined a powerful yard. Market probably the best guide but overall impression is that the top two may have his measure today.
Won a 1m4f Lingfield maiden on the A/W for James Fanshawe and rated 75 as a consequence, but didn't show enough on debut for new yard at Taunton to make him of interest here.
Glimmers of ability on second start at Warwick but not much either side of that. Cheekpieces on today for the first time, and they need to have a major effect.
Didn't show enough on debut at Stratford to suggest he was a winner in waiting next time, and looks one for handicaps later on, given yard's modus operandi.
With a good yard but yet to beat a horse home in two starts and simply can't be entertained as a contender.
Has run well enough on both starts in bumpers to suggest there's something to be won with her, but despite getting all the allowances here, is best watched on her first start since December.

Unless the market speaks loudly for the chances of Rodeo Dodo today, this looks between the two horses that have the form in the bank already. Preference, getting 6lb from Top Ville Ben , is for RESOLUTION BAY, who needs to just tidy his jumping up a bit but holds a sold chance on his Exeter win. Top Ville Ben looks beatable under the double penalty and may have to settle for the runner-up spot again. Bolving would be interesting on bumper form as well.
