Finished 3L fifth in the Foxhunters' at Cheltenham over an extended 3m2f last month. That effort was his best since joining his current stable while his defeat of the classy Foxrock in a point-to-point in December also marks him out as one to note in this.
Placed twice in this company this season including when finishing third behind Wonderful Charm at Haydock on good-to-soft ground in February. Drop in trip should suit and having his first run over these fences today.
Veteran of eight races over fences fences and placed in the Grand National back in 2010. Not the force he once was but still good enough to finish runner-up in a 2m4f hunter chase at Lingfield in February but likely to find a few of these too good.
Victorious in a hunter chase over an extended 2m7f on heavy ground at Kelso in January before being beaten in similar conditions at the same track a month later. Pulled up at Cheltenham last month but jockey has won this three times in the past.
Prolific winning point-to-pointer for this stable. Walked over at Ampton last month and justified odds-on favouritism twice already this season. Beaten in his only two outings in hunter chase company but a lively outsider for a top stable.
Winner of a low grade handicap chase at Hexham last June but generally struggled over fences. Finished third in a point-to-point at Friars Haugh last month and likely to find a few too good.
Useful hurdler on his day and winner over 2m on soft ground when partnered by his owner at Leicester last month. Finished third at Musselburgh the time before and has a leading amateur booked to ride in this.
Front runner who disappointed when pulling up on his penultimate outing at Musselburgh last month. Justified favouritism in a point-to-point at High Easter subsequently but likely to lack the stamina needed for a test of this nature.
Beaten 8L when finishing runner-up under today's rider in this event in 2016. Filled the same position in a soft ground hunter chase at Chepstow last month over an extended 2m7f and likely to run well once more.
Twice a winner over fences including in a handicap chase at Sedgefield in November 2015. Finished a well beaten third over 2m4f at Ludlow two months ago on his latest outing and looks up against it in this company.
Won just one of his 21 races under all codes. That victory came in a maiden point-to-point in April 2014 and he looks likely to struggle in first-time cheekpieces.
Winner of four of his six starts to date including at Friars Haugh last month. Subsequently finished runner-up behind a useful rival in a novice hunter chase at Catterick on soft ground and remains open to improvement.
Useful performer under rules a few years ago and unbeaten in two starts for this stable. Latest of those victories came in a four runner contest over 2m4f at Carlisle on heavy ground last month. Seems to retain plenty of ability and an interesting outsider though would likely appreciate any overnight rain.
Finished third in this event in 2016 and had just the two outings since. The most recent of those came when finishing ninth in the equivalent race at Cheltenham and he has his regular jockey in the saddle once more.
Returned to form with a 4L defeat of Mendip Express at Ludlow in February. That was his first outing since May last year and it remains to be seen whether he can repeat that good effort here.
Winner of four races in his career but failed to complete on three of his last four outings. Exception to that came when 53L seventh at Ludlow a month ago and he looks set to struggle in this.
Dead-heated in a point-point at Charing over 2m4f in February. Also placed in a four runner point-to-point at Cottenham this season and has a good young jockey in the saddle here.
Winner of this in each of the last two years. Attempting to win his third third Foxhunters' in succession when finishing fourth to Pacha Du Polder at Cheltenham last month. .Has also finished runner-up at Leopardstown this season and likely to put up a bold show once more despite his advancing years.
Finished sixth in this race in 2016 but unbeaten in two starts since returning from a break in February. The most recent of those outings came at Cheltenham last month whilst he also finished runner-up in this race in 2015. Leading contender.
Useful chaser for his previous yard and winner at the third time of asking this season when too good for a decent rival over 2m4f at Warwick last month. Successful over C&D in 2014 and an interesting contender.
Prolific point-to-point winner in 2016 and caused an upset when narrowly defeating today's rival Black Thunder in February. Finished well beaten at Cheltenham subsequently and likely to struggle here.
Had just two outings in 2017 finishing runner-up behind a progressive rival at Wincanton three months ago. Only other outing resulted in a heavy defeat having been sent off favourite three weeks later. Represents a top rules yard here and has won over C&D in the past.
Winner of a point-to-point at Didmarton a month ago and subsequently finished third at Chepstow in a hunter chase on soft ground. Tailed off when unseating today's rival in this last year and likely to struggle once more.
Dual hunter chaser winner over an extended 2m for this stable in recent seasons. Fell early on in this contest in 2016 and likely to struggle for stamina here.
Finished a well beaten third in a hunter chase at Fairyhouse in February. Sole success this season came in a point-to-point at Toomebridge in October and has a bit to find with the principals here.
Winner of six races under rules but well beaten in two hunter chase outings this season. Dropped back into a point-to-point when finishing a 13L third under today's rider at Howick last month and likely to find a few too good today.
Winner of a hunter chase over 2m4f at Musselburgh a month ago on his most recent outing. Struggled for stamina when well beaten over an extended 3m2f at the same track in February. Looks up against it in this.
Winner of a point-to-point at Barbury Castle in January. Finished well beaten in two hunter chase outings since. Has a good jockey in the saddle here but will need a career best effort to take this.

It often pays to race prominently on the Grand National course and previous course winner POOLE MASTER can cause an upset by taking the 2017 renewal of this prestigious event. The selection won at Wincanton when last seen in action and has improved with each run this season; he can take this at the chief expense of previous winner On The Fringe. Enda Bolger's charge has been a regular fixture in hunter chases in recent seasons but suffered a defeat at the hands of Pacha Du Polder at Cheltenham last month and may well find one too good again while prolific point-to-point winner Broken Eagle is also worth noting in a highly competitive field.
