Has finished last on both starts to date but too soon to write him off. Has plenty of winners in his pedigree and will be eligible for handicaps after this. That is where his future undoubtedly lies as he looks up against it here.

From the first crop of Irish St. Leger winner Jukebox Jury out of a dam who won on the Flat and over hurdles. Has produced two weak efforts in soft conditions either side of a more promising run on fast ground at Bath. Stable are 4-9 over the past fortnight with their NH horses but are 0-24 on the Flat over the past five seasons.

Chased home Sir Michael Stoute and Saeed Bin Suroor trained horses in a Kempton Maiden in mid-October. Down the field there on nursery debut subsequently and faces no easy task here. Makes debut for new trainer over a trip which should suit.

Verdict

PEALER caught the eye on his debut where he travelled strongly before chasing home a fitter and more strongly fancied stable companion. His yard do well with their maidens here and he can take this before going on to better things. Spirit Of Belle has shaped as though this step up to middle distances will suit. A repeat of his Kempton third would make him the pick of the opposition. Jukebox Jive represents a yard that has been going well. His Bath run on a fast surface gives him an outside chance.
