Well beaten in two maiden events last year and no signs of improvement at Naas at the end of last month. Has missed the break on two of his starts and looks set to struggle again.
Promising third at Gowran Park in the Autumn and step up in trip likely to suit for this son of Galileo. Trainer's runners usually come on for their seasonal reappearance but yard won this last year with a useful sort and plenty to like about his chances. Holds an Irish 2,000 Guineas entry.
Godolphin recruit with a nice dirt pedigree but may not stay this far and wide draw tempers enthusiasm. May not appreciate soft ground and first-time cheekpieces is a little off-putting.
Contested the same Gowran Park maiden as Auckland in the autumn, finishing one place better than that rival. Looked a little green on debut and not given a hard time when chance was gone. Sure to improve for that run and pedigree suggests he may enjoy soft conditions. Should go well again and holds a Derby entry for last year's winning Derby connections.
Plenty to like about his debut last year and the form of that race has been franked with the second and third winning since, the former off a mark of 86 in a handicap. Draw looks like the main negative for his chances but this trainer/jockey combination won this in 2015.
Bought for 45,000 gns as a yearling but not a whole lot of stamina in his pedigree and will be of more interest dropped back in trip.
Well beaten on debut and remains to be seen whether this step up in trip will see him to better effect. Did cost €46,000 but looks like another who is likely to be stretched but this distance.
Sea The Stars colt related to several high-class winners and most notably half-brother to French Oaks victor Sarafina. Stamina assured and very nice middle distance pedigree but no fancy entries and stable-jockey, Smullen, appears to prefer the chances of Derby entrant Haripour.
Fourth of 18 on debut and improved to finish third of 14 last time at Dundalk. Up against some with classy pedigrees but he will be there to expose any flaws in the temperament of his more lightly-raced rivals and not without an each-way chance.
Cost €42,000 as a yearling but well beaten on debut when still looking a little green and stable-jockey prefers Insayshable.
Excellent debut when finishing second in a respectable looking maiden at this course. Outpaced on occasions that day and looks more of a stayer so step-up in trip will help but wide draw is a negative. Stable won this last year.
Unplaced on four starts at Dundalk and that appears to be a world apart from the standard that will be required here.

Aidan O'Brien looks like he has a strong hand in this with Venice Beach and Auckland both having made very promising debuts but it's Derby entry HARIPOUR who can take the biggest step-forward from his debut. He wasn't given a hard time after the bird had already flown at Gowran Park last time and he's sure to enjoy the extra couple of furlongs. If the draw doesn't prove too inconvenient for Insayshable he could run well; the race he came out of last time looks like a hot maiden.
