Fair third on debut for his new yard at his course last time over a furlong shorter. Claims if building on that performance.
Won back in July 2015 but has not shown much to get excited about since. Retains cheek pieces in addition to a first time hood, and perhaps that will bring out more improvement.
Hasn't had much racing compared to much of this field and races on polytrack for the first time with blinkers applied. Needs to improve for handicap debut last month, but that was at Southwell which may not have suited him.
Has run consistently recently without doing enough to challenge for a first win. Made his first appearance in a handicap last time and will need to come on plenty for that down just 3lb.
Races on the Polytrack for the first time having shown some decent quality form as a three-year-old last year, including a victory at Bath and a close second at the same course off a similar mark.
14 race maiden but went closest to winning last time when beaten only a length over C&D. Clearly progressive and must surely get off the mark before long.
Got it all wrong on British debut last time out when sent off at a huge price, running as his odds suggested he would. Will need to do something else on handicap debut.
Has been running consistently on the all-weather recently, including three placings, all at Wolverhampton. Goes on the polytrack too, though, but it's a concern that he was pulled up in a hurdle race at Wetherby recently.
Has shown little in his starts so far, and tackled the polytrack for the first time here, also fitted with a hood for the occasion. More needed.
Won here over slightly shorter in January but has failed to build on that since.. Looks vulnerable to some of the less exposed types in the field.
Sole career win came over much shorter at Lingfield, and he hasn't done much to convince that these longer trips are what he wants. At least his handicap mark is dropping, but there's a reason for that.
A winner over hurdles but has shown little on the Flat, especially the all-weather with two heavy defeats last month, one of them coming here. Not a likely winner.
Hat trick seeker who steps down in trip today having won twice over C&D. Will need to improve again given his rising weight but that's not impossible.

Briac (9/4), Desert Cross (6/1), Rail Dancer (15/2), Graceful Lady (8/1), Mcdelta (8/1), Betsalottie (12/1), Tingo In The Tale (14/1), Cockney Boy (14/1), Brahma (16/1), Party Royal (20/1), Uphold (20/1), Mamnoon (25/1), Mr Magill (50/1), Tsundoku (100/1)
There's not much recent winning form in this field, though Briac has won his two most recent starts.. He'll need to show marked improvement to defy the handicapper, though, and therefore preference is for GRACEFUL LADY. She may still be a maiden but she's showing more with each run and will surely get off the mark eventually, with this looking as good an opportunity as any. Mcdelta looks progressive and could also be involved at the business end of proceedings.
- Graceful Lady
- Briac
