Very limited mileage on the AW although has proved suited by the surface when run on it and is a C&D winner. Was out of sorts for much of last year though and his mark has fallen as a result. Ran a good race recently at Chelmsford from an unfavourable position and there may be another win in him yet.

May well be 0/2 over C&D but has had excuses on both occasions and far better judged on his latest two runs. Gained a ready success in 0-80 company at Newcastle on his penultimate start and still ran another sound race last time out when third at Chelmsford with Stepper Point in second.. Useful 7lb apprentice takes over today.

Has won four times at Lingfield with three over those wins coming over C&D. Latest win at the track came in a 6f claimer and had been beaten off or around this mark in four 5f handicaps since.

Struggling for form a little of late although he is a dual C&D winner in the past off higher marks. Faces some on-form rivals here and would need to have shown more of late to be of interest.

Just the one win from 17 tries on the AW and despite a fair few goes has never won around here. Has shown up well in handicaps of late though before disappointing in a 6f claimer here last time out although it was doubtful the race was run to suit this sometime awkward ride.

Verdict

There may well not be much between JUST US TWO and Stepper Point in this after the two ran each other close at Chelmsford last time out. The vote just goes to the former as he has got his head in front of late and is partnered by a good 7lb claimer. The other three all have something to find on their current form with perhaps Monumental Man having the best form around this track which could take him into the minor placing.
