Beaten the most part of 20L on AW debut over this C&D three weeks ago, coming off a six-month layoff. Could have a bit of improvement on that effort.
Yard now in much better form than when this gelding made below-par debut in a 7f maiden at this track three weeks ago. Still requires fair chunk of improvement on the form of that run however.
Showed some useful form in four starts already, including when close second over 6f at this venue in October on AW bow. Off since but entitled to a big say in this stepping up to the mile if stripping fit enough.
Gelded son of Elnadim purchased cheaply as a yearling in October 2015, never a factor on debut in 6f turf maiden at Naas on Sunday. Upped in trip here.
Has run here four times, showing genuine potential on three of those starts at this mile trip. Second three weeks ago and should be in the mix once more.
Progressive in three turf outings for Ballydoyle team in the autumn, latest when second at Leopardstown in October. Should have leading claims if taking to AW surface.
Just the two runs last year, notable second in valuable 7f maiden at Leopardstown on second start in September. Could easily be good enough to take this prize on return if adapting to AW.
Filly has run a couple of pleasing races in C&D maidens over the previous month, should be competitive once more though probably needs improvement to take this contest.
Invincible Spirit filly comes from a powerful yard and will wear the colours of leading owners, one of three for Ballydoyle in this and commands respect on debut.
Pivotal filly representing Godolphin for highly-trusted trainer/jockey combination so any market traction would be worth noting.
Forecasts
Asking (6/4), Pennsylvania (3/1), Holiday Girl (9/2), Sir Danilo (7/1), Music Box (14/1), Panstarr (16/1), Memorial Rose (20/1), Scurlogstown Lad (20/1), Man Cave (100/1), Earl Of Bunnacurry (100/1)
A trio of runners from Ballydoyle in what is an interesting line-up, Asking is the pick of the O'Brien runners on form having run well at Leopardstown on her final start last term. Pennsylvania has also run well in four starts, including here, and should go well if coping with the mile trip while newcomer Music Box is also very much to be noted in the betting. It may pay however to side with the promise shown by HOLIDAY GIRL on her second turf start at Leopardstown. She was second in a decent contest and may not require much more to take this on reappearance. Sir Danilo merits respect on recent track form and boasts race fitness while newcomer Panstarr represents powerful connections.
