Put in a slightly improved performance last time but on the whole has not looked the same force since returning from a long break, an a return to his better form from a couple of years ago is probably what will be required here.
Finished eighth in a handicap here last time but was beaten only 6¼L that day. This mark may be a little high for her but she is one of the more progressive options in this field and it would not be a surprise if she were to record a first career win here.
Only victory has come over C&D, but that was just one of eight attempts at it, and she must overcome and sizeable break since finishing eighth here in September, Others hold more convincing claims.
C&D winner who has been running consistently well recently in similar races to this, despite not managing to get his head in front. A repeat of those efforts would see him go close again, and he has a big chance here.
0/16 both on the Flat and over hurdles and has shown little ability in either sphere to suggest he's capable of winning a race such as this one. Set to play a minor role here once again.
0/23 so far but has gone close on a number of occasions, and experienced traffic problems when not beaten too far here last time. Stays on the same mark but it seems a workable one and she could easily break her maiden here.
10-race maiden but has run some fair races in defeat, including when beaten 3L off 1lb higher at Kempton in January. Could sneak a place here if the first time visor has the desired effect.
Has shown little on any of his seven starts so far (was still beaten 5L on the only occasion he's managed to place). Remains open to improvement but would need to find plenty of it to have a say here.
Has shown occasional snatches of ability through his career so far, without ever really threatening to win a race. Will need a career best here but has more of a chance than some others in the field.

Forecasts
Surround Sound (9/4), Pour L'Amour (9/2), Cape Spirit (5/1), Thorntoun Care (13/2), King Julien (7/1), Percys Princess (10/1), Sir Jack (12/1), Ifan (14/1), Haabis (25/1), Put The Boot In (80/1)
Few of these seem to hold any substantial claims, but maybe CAPE SPIRIT will be given the opportunity to finally break her maiden. She would have run a big race but for being badly hampered last time out and she has looked like she has a race of this nature in her on a number of occasions. C&D winner Surround Sound could also go close given how consistently he's been running recently, but there remains the risk he's turning into a horse that's just very good at finishing second or third, while Pour L'amour is one of the more progressive options and is another possibility.
- Cape Spirit
- Surround Sound
- Pour L'amour
