All things considered has been a bit disappointing so far this term, including last month at Naas. Back in maiden company, he shouldn't be discounted from an improved run.

Struggled in two similar contests since returning from a long layoff. With an in-form trainer however and retains some element of interest for now.

Improved on previous for over this C&D earlier in the month in similar contest, beaten around 14L. Capable of having a say with similar step forward.
Beaten 66L here at Christmas over a longer trip, since fared only marginally better at Naas over 2m and requires significant improvement to have any say in this.

Was apparently fancied for 2m maiden hurdle at Down Royal in January though beaten to the tune of 30L when ninth of 13. Interesting that Walsh is booked again now.

Well beaten in two previous starts under rules, drop in trip on first outing for new trainer having been off the track since May. Has plenty to find on form.

Newcomer, trainer is not prolific with hurdlers and yard has recent record of 0/17. Hard to be positive unless markets speaks favourably.
Unable to land any kind of blow over this C&D on rules bow 12 days ago. May improve for that run but has a bit on his plate to get competitive.

Trainer hasn't had many runners this year to date, interesting newcomer here in famous colours and market support would be noted with excellent young rider booked.

Forecasts

Blast Of Koeman (4/6), Lyreen Lad (4/1), Jump For Dough (8/1), Inspector Caldy (10/1), Wait Here (12/1), Harden (14/1), Ballea Fox (33/1), Shar Whats Therush (33/1), Titan Jack (66/1)

Verdict

It is interesting to note that the champion jockey is once more booked to take the ride on LYREEN LAD. They were quickly beaten at Down Royal in January but there was market support then and it says something that Walsh is up once more. In a race where not much makes appeal, he may be able to get off the mark. Dropping back into maiden company, Blast Of Koeman is a notable danger. He hasn't built on his initial promise but has at least been found a winnable race today. Wait Here is a newcomer that is worth a market check while Harden is respected on trainer form and last time out improver Inspector Caldy could take a hand in the finish.
  1. Lyreen Lad
  2. Blast Of Koeman
  3. Inspector Caldy
