Itsakindamagic^h¹⁵⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 8-11| J: Oisin Murphy| T: A M Balding

5/6

Bought for 80,000 gns as a yearling and finished third in a nice looking maiden at Nottingham on only career start. That sets him apart on what this field have done so far and with that racecourse experience behind him, he could be very tough to beat. Trainer and jockey have a 23.81% strike rate when teaming up together at this course.

Form: 3-1

(5)

Stararchitecture^t1

Age: 3| Weight: 8-11| J: P Cosgrave| T: W J Haggas

9/2

Cost 120,000 gns as a yearling and related to winners at a range of distances. Market likely to reveal expectations but trainer and jockey have an uncharacteristically low-strike rate of 8.7% around here.

Form: 3

(2)

Zillion

Age: 3| Weight: 8-11| J: W Buick| T: J & T Gosden

3/1

Cost 34,000 gns as a two-year-old and yard do well with their younger horses. No fancy entries for this colt and this probably look far enough on his debut looking at his pedigree but any market support would like be significant.

Form: 4

(1)

Duke's Girl^h¹⁴⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 8-6| J: Danny Brock| T: M L W Bell

25/1

Well beaten in two outings in her career to date and handicaps seem far more likely to be her bag than a hot maiden such as this.

Form: 60-5

(4)

Royal Peace¹⁴⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 8-6| J: K T O'Neill| T: R Hannon

8/1

Not without promise on her debut at Kempton but this will no doubt be tougher and she would probably have to come on a remarkable amount to take this.

Form: 7-26

Forecasts

Itsakindamagic (5/6), Zillion (3/1), Stararchitecture (9/2), Royal Peace (8/1), Duke's Girl (25/1)

There was plenty to like about ITSAKINDAMAGIC's debut at Nottingham last year and provided he's tuned up and ready to go, he could be very difficult to beat. John Gosden and William Haggas' newcomers should always be considered and they field Zillion and Stararchitecture respectively. They both come with big price tags attached and it would be no surprise if either colt was good enough to give Itsakindamagic a run for his money provided they're ready to go first time out.
