Winner of 11 races including eight on artificial surfaces. Has yet to win off a mark as high as this and she has to be ridden just right. Jockey takes mount for the first time.
Entitled to have needed the run last time following a lengthy absence. Down in trip but may need even more time.
Course winner who more recently won over 5f at Southwell. Tackled this trip last time when encountering some trouble in running and staying on late. Clearly has more to offer and is one for the shortlist.
Course winner who often misses the break, and is therefore the type to be suited by a strongly run race. On a reasonable looking mark if able to break on level terms. Trainer 0-18 here in the last five seasons.
Winner off a mark of 69 last season. Has performed to a consistent level in defeat since but that has not allowed the handicapper to relax his grip. May just need to slip a couple of pounds before getting his head in front. Stable are going well and young claimer has never been in better form.
Stable took this last year. Winner of five races in 2016 with the latest coming from today's mark. Noted finishing well last time and stable are 3-12 in the last fortnight.
C&D winner who has finished last on his two most recent starts over this trip. Has been campaigning over further of late but jockey booking suggests stable are anticipating a bold show. Handicap mark looks more realistic now.

ESCALATING was a beaten favourite last time when strongly fancied to follow up a Southwell success for Mick Appleby. He was noted putting in some good work at the finish having encountered trouble in running and then being forced to come wide into the straight. He can go one better here at the expense of former stable companion Bouclier who may the 6lb penalty asking a little too much. Sophisticated Heir is usually thereabouts and, with an in form 5lb claimer on board, he looks sure to be thereabouts again.
