All three wins have been on ground described as heavy and goes into this 3ln higher than the last of them, over 2m3½f at Chepstow this time last year. Comfortably beaten last month, his only start since, but should strip fitter and yard in form. First try over this far but likely to get the trip.

Raised 3lb for finishing a neck second to Rocky Creek at Sandown in December (3m5f, good to soft) and untried on heavy ground, with his best form being on a drier surface. Has not won since October 2014 and given that latest rise it looks worth fielding against him.

Has already won twice this season, both at Exeter over 3m. But as one who has won from a mark of 130 in the past, you could argue that he is still well treated here. Out of sorts last two runs though and now has a bit to prove.

4lb higher than his best winning mark, which was on good ground at Ludlow in November, and well beaten on all starts since. Probably best watched unless there is a signficant market move for him.

15lb lower than his most recent win, but that was way back in September 2014 and has hardly showed any encouragement for almost two years. Impossible to recommend in this.

1-13, that win being in a good ground Uttoxeter maiden hurdle in September 2014. Gets in here off a good mark when considering that he was placed from 8lb higher when last seen. Has his wellbeing to prove after a 16-month absence but still young enough to make an impact.

1lb higher than when scoring at Exeter (2m3f, soft) in December and beaten favourite in two of his three subsequent starts. Doesn't take much more than a glance at his CV to see that marks of 114 and 115 are regularly productive, however, so looks a leading player again here.
