Winner of the Cheshire Oaks in 2016 but well beaten fourth behind a stablemate at Epsom. Final start of 2016 came when winning a 1m1f Group 3 contest at The Curragh by 7L and likely to prove hard to beat conceding weight to her rivals here.
Winner of a 6f maiden event at The Curragh in June 2016. Well beaten in a handicap last time out however and appears to have a lot on her plate here.
Winner of a Roscommon handicap over an extended 1m2f in August last year. Well held in three outings since and done all of her racing over further than today's 1m trip.
Debut winner over 1m2f at Leopardstown in July but disappointed in two most recent starts. Latest of those came when beaten 8L at Dundalk over this trip in October and others have a more obvious chance.
Three time winner in 2016 including in a Listed event on soft ground at Deauville in June. Highly tried when well beaten twice subsequently including in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot and an interesting runner here.
Winner of a handicap over 1m4f at Listowel in September. Held in three starts over middle distances since and looks outclassed in this contest.
Winner of a Listed event over 1m2f at Leopardstown in October when last seen in action. Also a winner over 7f and 1m in 2016 though would likely prefer better ground than she's set to encounter here.
Winner of a maiden event at the second time of asking over 1m1f at The Curragh in October. Hails from a good yard but steps up markedly in grade here.
Winner of a 7f maiden event on soft ground at Catterick on her debut in October last year. Steps up in trip here and an interesting runner despite yards poor recent form (0/18).
Winner of a 7f maiden on good ground at Gowran Park in August. Ran well in two Group 3 contests subsequently including on heavy ground at The Curragh last time out. Interesting runner tackling older rivals here.
Debut winner at Gowran Park in September and ran well in a Listed event subsequently. Both those outings came over 1m but disappointed over 1f further subsequently. Receives weight from most of her rivals here.
Maiden winner at Dundalk in October but beaten twice subsequently including at that same track last week and looks up against it in this.
Forecasts
Somehow (7/4), Flying Fairies (5/1), Queen Anne's Lace (11/2), Czabo (8/1), Legitimus (8/1), Cirin Toinne (12/1), Shes Ranger (16/1), Ce La Vie (16/1), Wild As The Wind (25/1), Dew Line (28/1), Chilli Spice (33/1), Camellia Japonica (66/1)
SOMEHOW has a fair bit in hand on ratings and can handle this drop in trip here by taking a second Group 3 success. The selection was successful over 1m1f when last seen in action and is likely to have too much for her rivals in this contest. Of the remainder Czabo disappointed in a Listed event last time out in France but showed last season that she's up to being competitive in a race of this nature having finished fourth in the Irish 1000 Guineas at The Curragh in May while the three-year-old Legitimus ran well twice in this company as a juvenile and represents a yard who have won this with three-year-old's in the past.
- Somehow
- Czabo
- Legitimus
