Lightly-raced sort, cut no ice over fences last time but could do better in a handicap back over hurdles though is untested over this trip.

Hasn't shown anything in four runs over hurdles to merit supporting, attempting this longer trip for the first time but looks best watched for now.

Verdict

KEMBOY is an obvious starting in point in a race where many are struggling for form. The ten-year-old hasn't jumped a hurdle in public since 2014 but was a winner over fences last summer. Getting in here off a significantly lower mark, he will have leading claims if able to run to the same level now back over timber. Mount Masada is also noted having put forward a much better effort over 3m at Limerick last time out while Leahs September has potential to have her say now going handicapping for the first time. Hannah's Lane ran a decent race in this contest 12 months ago though has been well below that since. Off 3lb lower, she is one to note in the betting. The lightly-raced Mauna Kea is also considered now switching back to hurdles along with Sea Scorpion, a winner at Tramore in December, and Twotensandalift, who had been performing nicely before his recent Clonmel flop.
  1. Kemboy
  2. Mount Masada
  3. Twotensandalift
