Horse A-Z
Huge mare who should have a future at the jumping game, and has shown plenty of promise in two starts so far, finishing a staying on fourth on her latest start at Towcester. This won't really be enough of a stamina test for her but with the experience under her belt, should still go well.

Seemed to step up on her second start, finishing midfield at Newbury in what looked quite a decent race on paper (well behind Lady Mix, reopposes here) but is another that will want more of a stamina test in time and is best watched today.
3
Horse silk
33/1
Nicely bred and plenty of useful jumping winners among the family, but didn't really show enough on debut at Ascot in February to suggest she's going to take a hand here. One to watch with a view to the future.

Second in a moderate point-to-point at Kirkistown in February and makes her Rules debut here. Yard not known for bumper winners and best watched.
5
Horse silk
5/1
Sets the standard here on her third to Lady Mix at Newbury last time out, staying on well after being outpaced at a crucial stage. Had only just been touched off on her debut at Huntingdon in February as well and looks the one to beat today.

Had clearly learnt plenty from a moderate debut at Uttoxeter when third to Whatzdjazz at Fakenham last month, despite looking very green in the closing stages. Form of that only moderate (second and fourth beaten since) so further improvement needed today.
7
Horse silk
10/3
Good second to the useful Naranja at Market Rasen on debut last April, but not gone on from that in two subsequent runs and was a well beaten favourite at Ayr when last seen in October. Not seen since and too soon to write off, but a bit to prove now.

Horse silk
20/1
Bred to have a bit of speed about her so this test should suit, and yard do get the odd bumper winner (5-35 last five seasons) but are very quiet at the moment and this one may be best watched unless the market says otherwise.
9
Horse silk
13/2
Plenty of jumps winners amongst her family and she should do okay given time, but trainer tends to let them find their feet in these races (just 7-97 in bumpers last five seasons) and she's best watched today.
Winners in the family but they have come at 2m4f+ and she will probably find this too sharp a test on her debut. Yard do get the odd big priced bumper winner, however, so worth a glance in the market.
She's another bred more for stamina than speed and with the yard yet to have a bumper winner from six attempts this season, looks one for another day rather than today.

Forecasts

Biscuit (9/4), Seelateralligator (10/3), Mary Eleanor (5/1), Chilli Filli (13/2), Monar Rose (9/1), Tierra Verde (20/1), Fleur Du Pommier (20/1), Hollow Park (20/1), Kikimora (22/1), Dig For Victory (25/1), Fortunello (33/1)

Verdict

Some of these may not find this sharp two miles enough of a test, but are worth keeping an eye on for the future. The giant Biscuit falls into that category as she will surely improve for going up in trip and seeing a hurdle. MARY ELEANOR is the one most likely to be suited by the conditions today and can get on the scoresheet at the third time of asking after two good efforts. Monar Rose seems to be learning and can get in the places. Money for either Tierra Verde (who should be suited by a speed test) or Fleur Du Pommier should be noted.
  1. Mary Eleanor
  2. Monar Rose
  3. Tierra Verde
