Yet to win on the AW although has run some respectable races on synthetic surfaces mostly at Wolverhampton. Losing run now stretches back to 2014 and looks the sort who needs everything to drop right for.
Capable but inconsistent sort who has been well below form of late and was outpaced over this 5f trip last time out. Would need to get back to the form he showed at Chelmsford in August off a 1lb lower mark to have a chance here.
The addition of today's pilot in the saddle certainly perked him up last time out when he won over C&D off a 5lb lower mark. Tries a new headgear combination this time around in an effort to maintain his form although his win record leaves a little to be desired.
Took a while to get off the mark but finally did in a C&D maiden on his penultimate start making the most of an easy opportunity. Ran creditably enough off this mark back in handicap company last time out over C&D and has every chance of going well again.
Course regular who has won five times over C&D and ran a sound second over 6f here on his penultimate start. Back down to this trip last time out here he ran his usual sound race despite not being ideally placed and is closely matched with Hot Stuff on that run.
No stranger to this course like a few here he is a dual C&D winner although those wins came back in 2015. Has not been in much form of late and others are preferred.
In excellent form in the early part of last year and completed a hat-trick with all the wins coming off higher marks than he runs off today. He's not won since completing the last of those victories and while he's run some consistent races he doesn't appear in the same form.
Turned in one of his better efforts last time out but has yet to win and would have to improve again to take a hand in this.

Frank The Barber (9/4), Noble Asset (7/2), Hot Stuff (6/1), Ask The Guru (7/1), Pharoh Jake (8/1), Roy's Legacy (9/1), Red Invader (16/1), Hurricane Alert (16/1), Rojina (33/1)
Quite a few of these have shown form that would see them winning at this level but much of it would rely on them coming back to that form. Frank The Barber did well to win last time out and the headgear is now changed (again) in a bid to retain his enthusiasm off a 5lb higher mark. Noble Asset tends to run well without winning and that could be the story again and it’s probably better to rely on Pharoh Jake and HOT STUFF who are closely matched on their running last time out over C&D. Pharoh Jake didn’t quite get the run of the race on that occasion but it may well be that Hot Stuff can confirm the form and have that little more improvement left in him.
- Hot Stuff
- Pharoh Jake
- Frank The Barber
