Son of Paco Boy making belated debut. Related to some winners but already gelded and passed over provided there's no significant market support.

Small signs of temperament issues on first two starts but he can be forgiven that and he's been given a mid-season break. Sets a decent standard on form and there's likely to be more to come for a trainer with a 42.86% at the track (3-7).

More exposed than the rest of these and has disappointed as favourite the last twice (long odds-on last time). Official rating may flatter him a little but this doesn't look like a strong maiden and he's unlikely to need improvement to be in the first three.

Half-sister to several winners including the 5f-6f winner Miss Anabaa. Good second on debut and capable of progression but the form of that race wouldn't appear to be the strongest on first viewing.

20/1 sixth of nine on debut last time. Didn't show enough there to warrant consideration in what looks like a stronger race.

Very disappointing in two starts to date, ninth of 10 on both occasions and likely to do better when handicapping.

Forecasts

Kowaiyess (2/5), Midnightly (9/2), Three C's (7/1), Tartufo Classico (25/1), Tooty Fruitti (33/1), Vicky Park (50/1)

Verdict

In what looks like a weak maiden, it's hard to get away from the claims of KOWALYESS. The gelding has shown enough in his first two career starts to suggest that he's capable of a performance worthy of taking this. Three C's has disappointed in several of his starts but within the context of this race, he should be able to give a good account. Midnightly was an eye-catching second on her debut and has claims if she can build on that.
