Won a couple of point-to-points before making a fair impression in a solitary start for Paul Nicholls.; and recently swapped hands for £28,000, so obviously appeals as an investment for races of this nature. One to bear in mind from a fair looking mark.
Returned with a sound, but unspectacular, performance at Fontwell in December but has been out of sorts in two outings since then. Interesting to note the blinkers are dispensed with today but has a bit to prove on balance.
Won well at Catterick in early February and was in the process of running a nice race until he ran out at Wincanton last time out; still raised 2lb for those exertions which may be harsh on face value. Never won off a mark this high but is capable of going close if he has a bit more luck in running this time around.
Won well off a mark of 92 at Ludlow in November but has been well below that form in both subsequent starts. The revised mark of 97 still leaves him needing to post a career best effort and others make more appeal this time around.
Mainly consistent but is now 3lb below his last winning mark, so has claims on the pick of his form. Recent efforts have been a touch disappointing, but he has gone well over C&D in the past. One to bear in mind if the ground doesn't deteriorate too badly.
Held her form well over the past twelve months but has been below par of late. Notable that she is still 7lb above her only previous winning mark and, given that her stamina will be pushed to the limit, she faces another tough assignment.
Set to race from 8lb higher than when she landed a conditional riders' event over C&D in February and has a bit to do on these terms. Jumping errors blighted her chances at an early stage last time out at Chepstow and she will not get away with a similar display in this slightly tougher race.

But for running out at Wincanton last time out, BLACK NARCISSUS would be coming here with a higher rating and has a chance to atone for his antics. He has a 2lb higher mark to overcome, so still needs to be at the top of his game. Giveitachance and The Happy Chappy are a couple of others who can capitalise if the rains hold off, while That's Gonna Sting may be the best of the rest.
