Half-brother to a couple of useful staying hurdler/chasers. Cost €32,000 but likely to prove a longer term prospect.
€55,000 half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Lightentertainment. Yet to show anything out of the ordinary in two similar events at Huntingdon so far but clearly in good hands and hard to believe there isn't more to come.
Not unfancied for his debut in a similar event in the mud at Warwick in January but ran far too green to do himself justice. A half-brother to bumper winner Going For Gold, so no surprise if there is much more to come.
Yet to go off at odds of less than 33/1 in three similar events on ground softer than good, showing only moderate signs of ability. No obvious reason to expect any better here.
Half-brother to 3 winners, including fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser Royal Boru. Market will guide as he makes a racecourse debut.
€16,500 3-y-o, Scorpion gelding out of a bumper-winning dam. Yard no stranger to success in these kind of events and positive market vibes would make him interesting.
Cost €45,000 and hails from a good family being a brother to bumper winner Pharney Lady. Yard has won this race three times in the last five years and this newcomer is one for the short-list.
Cost €70,000 at three but changed hands for considerably less than that more recently. Wears tongue strap first time out but respected for a leading yard.
Not without market support when making his debut at Stratford (good to soft) in a similar event last season but was edged out by Brio Conti in a photo. Clearly has to enter the equation on that form, but fitness query to answer after 10 months off.
Cost €40,000 and plenty to like about his pedigree. Looks one of the more likelier types as he steps foot on a racecourse for the first time.
Cheapish purchase who wasn't entirely discredited when last of five in a similar event at Taunton on his debut in December. Surprise if he doesn't find a few too good.
Cost €65,000. Half-brother to winning pointer Thinking Out Loud. Plenty to like about his stamina-laden pedigree on paper and is worth a market check.
Cost €17,000 but not enough in his profile to appeal as a likely winner unless market speaks in his favour.
Changed hands for €78,000 and hails from a yard whose newcomers invariably merit respect. No surprise to see him make an impression first time out.

Vado Forte (3/1), Rebel Commander (5/1), Destrier (11/2), Whats Not To Like (13/2), Rooster Cogburn (7/1), Colonial Dreams (14/1), Dollnamix (14/1), Captain Mcgarry (16/1), Justice Super (20/1), Pointed And Sharp (20/1), Vision D'auteuil (25/1), Smiley (33/1), Paddy's Poem (33/1), Hugo's Reflection (50/1), Hab Sab (100/1)
What's Not To Like sets the standard on actual form on the board but it's hard to believe there isn't much more to come from Dollnamix or Colonial Dreams in particular. However, it would be no surprise of this didn't fall to one of the many interesting newcomer with REBEL COMMANDER earning the vote from Vado Forte in the strength of Nicky Henderson's recent record in this race.
- Rebel Commander
- Colonial Dreams
- Vado Forte
