Latest effort over two-miles at Fairyhouse early last month when fourth of 25 was another step in the right direction and may be as good as any of this field have managed to date.
Beat around 18L over this C&D in January on stable debut after two years off. Lightly raced nine-year-old might have more to offer.
Beaten a fair distance in both maiden hurdle runs so far, latest at Thurles in January. Shrewd trainer, not entirely written off but might be one for handicaps.
Has gone close in bumpers, just one previous run over flights saw him beaten 40L at this track in August over 2m4f.
Debut at Punchestown last month in similar maiden hurdle contest, always in rear and beaten over 100L, doesn't appeal here.
Mare was 100/1 and well beaten on hurdles bow at Navan in December. This is not as tough a race but still requires fair improvement to get involved.
Didn't show much promise in four point-to-point runs and similar tale in two hurdles outings at Clonmel, gives her plenty to find.

This is anything but a strong contest to begin proceedings. Jack Dillinger probably sets the standard on his Fairyhouse run last month, which was another step in the right direction and it may not require much more to take this prize. Geneva Barracks is another that has displayed some potential and his jumping was a bit better latest on third start over flights, he too should have a say. Colwinston put up an improved showing at Leopardstown recently, making him one for the shortlist but a speculative vote goes to ROSSMORE'S PRIDE. He weakened here over this trip on his stable debut but that was off a two-year layoff. He had shown some promise at Wetherby on his only jumps run in Britain and, while he is clearly not without risks, might be up to winning a contest like this.
