Has been contesting hunter chases in the main in recent seasons winning three such events in 2016. Beaten 24L at Leicester on heavy ground last time out and now rated 24lb lower than when last running in handicap company. Appears to retain plenty of ability and interesting off top weight here.
Struggling in handicaps since finishing second twice back in November. Latest defeat has resulted in a 3lb drop in the weights and now rated 16lb lower than for his most recent victory at Taunton 14 months ago.
Formerly trained in Ireland and signs of promise in two outings for current stable. Most recent of those came when third at Ludlow over 2m4f last month and tongue tie and cheekpieces combination (has worn tongue tie and visor the last twice) tried here. Likely to run well once more.
Winner off a 4lb lower mark at Sedgefield early last month though unable to justify odds-on favouritism in a small field event down in trip off revised mark subsequently. Races off 1lb lower mark here and an interesting contender back up to a distance that is likely to prove more suitable.
Winner of a handicap chase at Chepstow in November but well beaten at Doncaster subsequently. Still held chances when unseating his rider at Ludlow last time out and remains of interest though would probably prefer better ground
Handicap mark sliding following defeats on each of his five outings since transferring to this yard last year. Latest defeat came on soft ground and over 3m at Sandown and placed off a 25lb higher mark less than a year ago. Blinkers replace the usual cheekpieces here.

HOWLONGISAFOOT represents an in form yard here (6/14 recently) and can gain a first victory since moving stables here. The selection is very well in on his old form for Paul Nicholls and a chance is taken on the blinkers bringing about an improved performance here. Dr Robin disappointed last time out but this step up in trip should see him in a better light while top weight Grandioso can fight it out with Azert De Coeur for minor honours.
