Took long enough to reach the racecourse and pedigree wouldn't have you thinking in terms of sprints. Well beaten on debut and very much one to watch again.
Showed up much better than his 50/1 price tag suggested on debut at Kempton in September (7f) and race may have come a bit quick for him when returning there shortly afterwards. Freshened up again, this should be his sort of trip and another good run looks likely with his yard among the winners.
A good run by Poetic Queen earlier on the card would be a little boost to this one's claims, not that he really threatened to do any more than keep on when just over 4L behind that horse at Wolverhampton last time. Entitled to come on for that run.
Another who finished behind Poetic Queen last time, although in this case as a beaten favourite after having shown promise on debut. Will need to show the improvement that was anticipated there to be able to get off the mark today.
Runner-up four times from six starts, the sort of profile that often has punters running for the hills. Connections persist with these sort of contest as opposed to handicapping and as one who blazes a trail over 7f but has been failing to see it out, the drop to 6f here does have the feeling of a positive.
Another regular bridesmaid who has been tried over both 5f and 6f. Beaten favourite twice, including last time over the minimum trip when outpaced at the business end. Possibly needed that to some extent after a break and looks more attractive today back at this distance.
Half-brother to Blue Deer, who won three handicaps from 6f to 1m and by a Group One winning French miler. £185,000 purchase as a yearling and yard going well, so a good introduction is anticipated.
Full-sister to Flora Medici, who won three times for this trainer at 6f to 7½f and achieved a highest rating of 76. Also half-sister to 96-rated Cote D'Azur, a multiple winner from 7f to 1m2f, so attractive enough pedigree. Well beaten on debut and likely to need a bit more time before winning.
Full-sister to Parbold, a 6f maiden winner on debut who went on to be runner-up in the 2013 Coventry Stakes over the same trip. Ran very green on debut in October and ought to know plenty more about the game today. Represents top yard and likely to be able to do much better.

Cinque Port began well and perhaps can put a poor second run behind him after a winter break, while Havelock is not one to give up on just yet, especially with this drop back in trip. However Richard Hannon may hold the key to the outcome with Sawlaat and KASSANDRA and it is his well-related filly that we will put our trust in to make a winning debut.
