Landed a Lingfield maiden on debut in January and only just held next time on his handicap debut at Newcastle from a 2lb lower mark than today. No reason why he can't build on that again here, though improvement needed to win again.
Former Richard Hannon inmate, who joined current yard in November, winning for them at the third time of asking in a 1m½f Wolverhampton maiden in January. Not far away in a couple of handicaps since then, both from slightly higher marks, and entitled to go close here back over a more suitable trip.
Sole success was in a 5f Windsor novices' contest last June, though has gone well in a couple of handicaps since, including from today's mark last time. Steps up in trip here, which pedigree suggests may be a positive, though does need to find some improvement.
Has improved since having the unkindest cut and got his nose in front for the first time at Lingfield (1m) in February. Handicapper has responded with a 5lb rise, which looks fair enough. Going to need further progress to defy that.

Forecasts
Mustarrid (6/4), Indian Dandy (7/4), Ourmullion (2/1), Mums The Word (11/4), El Torito (4/1), Poetic Force (10/1), Dreaming Time (12/1)
Dreaming Time and Mustarrid are both handicap debutantes who look reasonably well treated for this and a win for either would be no surprise. However, POETIC FORCE is in super form at present and the form of his latest success looks plenty strong enough to bring to the table, so he is taken to defy another 6lb rise.
