Pulled up on his only outing over hurdles so far at Clonmel in December 2015. Well beaten three times on the Flat since including over 6f the last twice and probably best watched here.

7/2
Winner of a bumper from seven attempts and run to a good level of form so far in three hurdles outings including when beaten 10L by Cheltenham bound Melon at Leopardstown in January. Beaten odds-on favourite on penultimate start but likely to prove hard to beat if recovering from being brought down at Leopardstown six days ago.
Runner-up in a point-to-point in April 2016 and filled the same position on his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse in December. Disappointed somewhat when returning to bumper company at Limerick later that month but likely to go well again here.

Ran well until falling at the final flight in a first time tongue tie (retained here) at Naas last month. Had previously finished in the frame in three bumper races including at Naas over 2m3f in January and looks likely to run well once more here.

Marked tendency to jump left handed on his sole racecourse appearance at Sligo in May 2015. Absent since and likely best watched racing right handed on his return from a long absence here.
Pulled up in a bumper on debut and well beaten in two maiden hurdles so far, likely to fair better once tackling handicaps.

Three time winner on the Flat including in a handicap on good ground here last August. Well beaten in two outings over hurdles for this stable and likely to fair better in handicaps.

11/2
Winner of a Clonmel bumper on his debut in March 2015 and put a slightly disappointing hurdling debut behind him when making the frame the last twice. Drop in trip interesting on his first outing in nearly 13 months.
Finished third in a point-to-point in December but no show on hurdling debut here in January and probably best watched at present.

Placed in a Flat maiden in 2012 and winner of a point-to-point in April 2014 on her first run in over 20 months. Another long absence followed and she's shown little in two starts since including when running out early on at Clonmel last week.

Unraced for previous stable but signs of promise on her debut in a bumper at Naas in November and interesting to see how she fares on her hurdling debut here.

Bumper winner who was beaten 32L into third on her hurdling debut at Clonmel earlier this month. Clearly has ability and interesting to see how she fares here with the tongue tie and cheekpieces returning here (left off last time out).

Runner-up at Tipperary in a maiden hurdle in first time cheekpieces and tongue tie in July but well held in two subsequent outings, one of which was on the Flat and remains a maiden after 16 career outings (Flat and jumps).

Forecasts

Castlegrace Paddy (6/4), Drumconnor Lad (7/2), Broken Soul (7/2), Sizinguptheamazon (11/2), Goaheadmakemyday (12/1), Johnny Sue (33/1), Evie Rose (33/1), Talsara (33/1), No Pressure Pat (50/1), Broadway Babe (50/1), Trimmers Lane (66/1), Romantic (100/1), Baltray Boy (100/1)

Verdict

CASTLEGRACE PADDY finished runner-up on his only hurdles outing to date at Fairyhouse in December. The form of that contest is working out well with the third and fourth both successful in maiden company since and it's possible that the selections bumper outing at Limerick 12 days later came too soon. Broken Soul has his fifth start over hurdles here and is taken to gain a fourth placing with another multiple placed hurdler Drumconnor Lad getting the better of the returning Sizinguptheamazon for third.
  1. Castlegrace Paddy
  2. Broken Soul
  3. Drumconnor Lad
