Sire has a decent record but this gelding is out of an unraced dam who has yet to produce a winner. while his trainer has not had a winner in this sphere for several seasons. Readily opposed.
By a Grade One French juvenile hurdle winner over 2m4f and from a yard going reasonably well, although not known for its bumper winners. Slight concern that hood in place for racecourse debut and probably best watched unless market is particularly positive.
Dam has produced three winners over hurdles and fences, although none have won without obstacles in front of them. Yard in good form and do send in the occasional winner in this sphere, so the market should be a good guide.
Reasonable debut run at Musselburgh in January and can build on that, though likely to be better over further than this and when tackling obstacles.
Yard is decent form and has a reasonably good strike rate in bumpers. This gelding went well enough for a long way at Wetherby on debut last month and can show more today. Half-sister won twice in France with plenty of cut in the ground. Interesting
€13,000 purchase who raced plenty keen enough at Catterick on debut before fading. Yard in good form and traditionally does well with these types, so entitled to be thereabouts if settling better this time.
One of the better pieces of form recorded by any of these when making the frame on debut here last month (soft). Should have learned plenty from that and could have a big say.

Forecasts
Rooster Spirit (6/4), McGowan's Pass (9/4), Indian Harbour (3/1), Calix Delafayette (11/2), Up Helly Aa King (8/1), Bertie Blake (8/1), Bonchester (12/1), Side Of The Road (18/1), Reminding (25/1)
Up The Helly Aa King is an interesting debutante here and hails from a yard going well, so check out the market beforehand, while McGowan's Pass has conditions to suit once again and despite the penalty he can again be heavily involved. Bertie Blake and Rooster Spirit are potential improvers, as is INDIAN HARBOUR, who represents a yard to fear in these contests and is given the nod.
- Indian Harbour
- Up Helly Aa King
- Rooster Spirit
