Not achieved much in three starts at this track but likely to do better now handicapping and first-time cheekpieces could bring about plenty of improvement as well as the drop in trip.

Finished second behind a progressive one when last seen and lost to that rival the time before at Kempton. Good chance those bits of form are worth something and proven on this surface to a certain extent so while he's still a maiden, he may be worth chancing.

Well beaten in a couple of good quality nurseries last year but didn't manage to improve for a drop down in class on handicap debut and not much better last time at Kempton. Finished last on each of his last three starts and has to do plenty to turn the form around with Jet Setter who was a long way ahead of him last time.

Slowing progressing and career best last time when third of six at this course, having the run of the race to some extent. Trainer has a near 20% strike rate at the track while his jockey has his first ride; market can reveal expectations.

Placed just once in nine career starts and had the run of the race when fourth of nine at Lingfield last time. Has one of the more talented apprentices in the saddle but he's hard to fancy on all known form.

Failed to back up a solid effort at Southwell two starts back when a disappointing fifth at Wolverhampton last time out. Jockey's worth his claim so he could bounce back if he returns in the same mood as his Southwell runner-up effort.

Ex-French runner who improved to finish fifth of 14 at Dundalk. Will find this less competitive no doubt and one to be interested in if there's market support.

Best effort to date when second last time but unplaced on his previous eight career starts and needs to build on that now.

Forecasts

Backinanger (11/4), Mr Strutter (10/3), Jet Setter (5/1), Man About Town (6/1), Not Now Nadia (17/2), Celerity (10/1), Fast Kar (16/1), The Bard's Advice (16/1)

Verdict

JET SETTER has finished behind Lord Cooper the last twice but that rival doesn't show up here and his jockey is more established than several in the field. Not Now Nadia failed to back up a good effort at Southwell when last seen at Wolverhampton but Callum rodriguez is worth his claim while Fast Kar could find this easier than the contests she's been running in at Dundalk
  1. Jet Setter
  2. Not Now Nadia
  3. Fast Kar
