Bounced back last time when having his 120th start but his wins these days are few and far between and he's a couple of pounds wrong at the weights so looks opposable.
One win in nine starts and shown nothing for this yard. Likely to be of more interest when returned to his winning track, Southwell.
Just one win from 14 starts and that came over further than this. Ran okay here three starts back with a third placed effort over 7f but may need this run after a break.
Never got competitive from a wide draw last time but losing record is now stretched to 13. Hard to recommend on recent form despite recording a win over a similar trip on Tapeta at Wolverhampton.
Remains a maiden after 14 career outings and well held off this mark at Lingfield last time out. Plenty to prove at present.
Not won since May 2015 and not shaped like changing that pattern in five runs here since September. Particularly poor last time and no signs he's close to turning the corner any time soon.
Decent sixth over C&D last time and finished third on previous effort over C&D. Both those races have a solid look to them from a form prespective and this claimer's worth the 5lb she takes off so certainly one of the more interesting runners.
Still a maiden after 12 starts but best effort yet last time out here when settling better than he had done in previous starts. If he can just build on that effort, he'd have a chance in this weak event.
Unplaced on all 15 starts and while last time's effort was probably a career best, she will still need more and first-time hood needs to work wonders.

Forecasts
A Boy Named Sue (9/4), Mr Potter (7/2), Kiwi Bay (4/1), Mr Sundowner (5/1), John Caesar (7/1), New Abbey Angel (7/1), Sheer Intensity (12/1), Luath (20/1), Jessie Allan (20/1), Nelson's Bay (33/1)
MR SUNDOWNER has been running well without getting the rub of the green recently but Megan Nicholls is good value for the 5lb she takes off and it's be no surprise if that claim proves enough for him to get his head in front. A Boy Named Sue is still a maiden but he put in a career best last time out and should remain competitive off a 1lb higher mark. Mr Potter looks like a bit of a tricky customer but he could go close if he turns up here rather than taking up his engagement at this course 24 hours earlier.
