100/1
Possesses some creditable form on the Flat but yet to suggest he's going to be as good over timber, fifteenth of 18 in novice hurdle at this C&D latest.
2
Horse silk
66/1
Two runs in this sphere leave much to be desired and not one to be siding with at this point in time.
3
Horse silk
7/4
Finished third in a maiden hurdle behind Death Duty at Roscommon in October, ran well enough at Punchestown last month over 2m4f on sole outing since. Drops in trip.
Newcomer is well related and will be worth a market check on first day out, though trainer is without a winner in 2017 to date.
5
Horse silk
66/1
Form in four spins over timber hasn't screamed of promise, has a bit of improving to do.

Age: 6|  Weight: 11-4| J: B J Cooper| T: G Elliott
25/1
Fourth on sole point-to-point start to date in April 2015, well held on first rules start at Clonmel last month over two-miles, should improve.
7
Horse silk
5/1
Gone well enough in two maiden hurdles at Cork late last year to warrant consideration coming here off a break.

Mr Champers29
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: R Loughran| T: A Keatley
16/1
Lightly raced but has a bit to find on the evidence of two spins over hurdles at Clonmel so far, can improve.
9
Horse silk
40/1
Hurdles bow at Navan last month was fair, gives him something to work on with this contest in mind.
10
Horse silk
Pump Roadh1
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: B R Dalton| T: J G Lonergan
100/1
Another newcomer from a very lightweight yard, trainer yet to see a runner placed under rules and likely limited expectations here.

Horse silk
Three Kings21
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-4| J: D N Russell| T: T E Hyde
7/1
Two starts in maiden hurdles since the turn of the year and hints that there will be more to come after running with credit both times.
12
Horse silk
50/1
Three runs in bumpers fairly bereft of positives, goes hurdling for the first time and probably best to adopt a watching brief for now.

Horse silk
Alys Keys
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-11| J: A W Short(7)| T: P Griffin
100/1
A €10,000 3-y-o, Beneficial mare making first appearance on the racecourse, market should be used to steer expectations.
14
Horse silk
40/1
Two uninspiring efforts thus far over timber, latest when pulled up at Fairyhouse in January. Needs to find considerable improvement from somewhere.
15
Horse silk
Hippy Hayleyt71
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-11| J: B J Foley(7)| T: A Maguire
100/1
Struggled all three starts over hurdles, falling latest at Killarney in May. Pulled up in pair of point-to-point outings in December and off since.

Horse silk
Kittyhawkkayt42
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-11| J: T N Brett(7)| T: J P Ryan
66/1
Beat just one of 18 rivals home in a pair of bumpers so far, hurdles debut in this and expectations ought to be quite low.
17
Horse silk
66/1
Newcomer, worth a check in the market but stable has been quiet and yet to send out a winner or placed horse in 2017 from 21 attempts.
18
Horse silk
15/8
Point-to-point winner made pleasing start at this game when second at Clonmel on debut, trainer remains in fine form and one of the more interesting contenders.

Forecasts

Aint Dunne Yet (7/4), White Lilac (15/8), Hickey's Rock (5/1), Three Kings (7/1), Mr Champers (16/1), Harden (25/1), Ned's Island (40/1), Ellie's Choice (40/1), Tikken Away (50/1), A Nice Touch (66/1), Din Diddle Inn (66/1), Knock Na Rea (66/1), Kittyhawkkay (66/1), Pump Road (100/1), Hippy Hayley (100/1), Alys Keys (100/1), Mezajy (100/1), Bob Benson (100/1)

Verdict

Aint Dunne Yet finished third behind Death Duty in the autumn and remains of interest having since run well enough at Punchestown, especially given the decision to drop back to two-miles now. Hickey's Rock has also gone well enough in two runs at Cork to suggest he'll have some say in the finish while Ned's Island has some scope to improve on last month's Navan debut over flights. The same can be said of WHITE LILAC, who finished second at Clonmel on debut and will handle the likely ground. Her trainer remains in solid form and with that piece of form in the book, she appeals as the most likely winner.
  1. White Lilac
  2. Aint Dunne Yet
  3. Hickey's Rock
