Has shown a liking for the fibresand over the years and stays this trip well. Set to race from 4lb below her last winning mark, so has sound claims in a race of this nature, but faces a tough test in giving weight away to all bar one of her rivals.
Hasn't stood much racing of late but ran a blinder on his only previous start for his current yard. Obviously capable of going well fresh and he won the 2015 renewal of this race from a 4lb lower mark; one to seriously consider in a race likely to be run to suit.
Has held his form well over the last twelve months and has sound claims despite being set to race from a mark 12lb above his last winning mark. However, he may be better on the Tapeta surfaces and has something to prove regarding his ability to cope with the nature of this unique track.
A one-time inmate of Henry Cecil's, the gelding reached a fair level during his early career but is now a shade of better days. Recent efforts suggest he needs a very stern test of stamina and others may have more of an edge when it comes to willingness for a battle.
Holding his form well just now, having taken a little time to adjust to his current trainer's regimes. This slight step up in trip should suit and, given that he responds well for today's pilot, another bold bid looks assured. One for the shortlist.
Goes well at this course and gets the trip without any issues. However, his better efforts are becoming more spread out these days and he looks a risky proposition.
Back on a handy mark for the remainder of the AW campaign and at least holds Noguchi on recent evidence. Needs to conclusively prove he is still effective over anything other than a marathon trip.

A chance is taken on the well being of SAMTU, who won this race two years ago from just a 4lb lower mark. The selection goes well fresh and has plenty in his favour in this company. Eurato has sound claims if he handles the surface, while Pinwood is holding his form well and should be suited by the extra demands on his stamina this time around.
