Effective around here and won twice over 7f recently but has to give weight to some useful types and the step up in trip unlikely to suit.
Out of form of late and not won since 2015 but is the highest rated in the race and he's dangerous to rule out if he bouncers back.
Won seven times here in the past but well held on his latest outing here recently. Been running in Class 4's so will no doubt find this easier and comes out well at the weights.
Has looked regressive since joining this stable from David O'Meara's yard and wants more of a stamina test than this.
All seven career wins have come over C&D and won this race last year. May find things a little tougher this year though and not been running at his best of late.
Good strike-rate of 10 wins from 60 starts and he gets weight from plenty of the field. Has won three times at this course including once over C&D and he could be hard to beat if arriving in form.
Twice justified favouritism at this course in April 2016 in a seller and most recently in a claimer. Disappointing in three outings since a runner-up effort here in May including when well held over 1m2f at Sandown in July. Returns from a near eight month absence and may need the run.
Reeled off a hat-trick on the AW back in 2014 but hard to imagine at that point he wouldn't win a race in three years since. Finished last here when last seen and needs to bounce back.
Forecasts
Lacan (11/8), Berlusca (7/2), Gold Flash (11/2), Dana's Present (17/2), Mr Red Clubs (11/1), Jumbo Prado (12/1), Pool House (20/1), Hard To Handel (33/1)
DANA'S PRESENT doesn't usually go a long time without winning a race and he has some good course form here. Better than his finishing position last time and gets weight from most of his market rivals. Jumbo Prada was last years winner of the race but may find this a little tougher while Berlusca is likely to find this easier than the races he's been contesting recently.
- Dana's Present
- Berlusca
- Jumbo Prado
