His last win came over these obstacles almost two years ago. Has run some excellent races in defeat since but has failed to sparkle this term. This looks easier should cheekpieces have the desired effect.
Yet to win beyond 2m4f but looks worth a try at this trip judged by his effort in the North Yorkshire Grand National in January and his two runs since.. Only 2lb above his last winning mark and this might be his day.
Largely disappointing since picking up two races at this point last season. Encouraging signs last time and yard have been enjoying some success in the past week.

Just the three runners and all arrive here with serious doubts. Sun Cloud would be a confident pick if the fitting of cheekpieces can bring him back to the form he was showing in 2015. That must be considered doubtful and preference is for SWING HARD. He showed signs of a return to form last time in what admittedly was a weak race. With his stable in good form right now he looks a more straightforward option than Raktiman. Sam England's charge is prone to making errors and he will need a clean round to improve his chances of seeing out the trip.
