All have to overcome inevitable reactions from the handicapper but BISHOPS COURT seems to have got off more lightly having beaten two recent winners at Wincanton last time with a fair bit in hand. His stable have an outstanding record here with their chasers and he can add to that tally. Conditions will suit Wolf Sword and his stable are going well too. He may lack the scope for improvement of some of these but he runs to a consistent level and that may be enough against rivals who need to prove they can defy the handicapper again. On The Road cannot be faulted on recent achievements and this is by far his sternest test to date. Having won six races in the last year which have seen him rise almost 50lb in the weights it would be unwise to dismiss his chances here.
