Surely too late now to resurrect his Cheltenham dreams? If he was to win in the manner of his early season chase successes, who knows. Massive questions over him currently given how season has developed but does have stacks of ability.

Placed all three starts over fences, easily justified odds-on at Thurles over two-miles last month and should go well once again.
Easy winner at Gowran Park on chase debut in January, clearly has a future in this sphere but some of his jumping left a bit to be desired and will be interesting to see how that holds up if seeing some rivals alongside.
Just the two starts over fences and has been a little bit underwhelming given market positions. Should be able to do better than we've seen before long and trainer is going well.

Former point-to-point winner has yet to showcase great ability under rules, jumping on debut at Fairyhouse wasn't convincing and since unseated rider back at that venue.

Verdict

Great Field made a super start over fences when winning at Gowran Park in January. He travelled supremely well and won easily but there were some questions about his jumping over the final three obstacles. Clearly, he is entitled to have improved his fencing but it may be needed this time. Don't Touch It opened his account in good style at Thurles and has acquitted himself well all three starts, his experience shouldn't be discounted. The manner in which IDENTITY THIEF took his opening two starts at Punchestown this season still lingers, despite what has been a troubled few months. It is interesting that connections choose to run here and, at his best, he would have outstanding claims in this. Woodland Opera may have hold place claims, as might Baily Cloud if getting around in one piece.
