Knows how to win should the chance arise and generally very consistent over the past year, but latest effort at Wolverhampton, although not disgraced, suggested the handicapper had caught up with him now. Could run well without being quite good enough.
Good record on this surface (1432) and another very good effort over C&D last time, leading a furlong out and only caught close home. Still nicely handicapped on historic form and no reason why she won't run her race again.
Moved to this yard in January and may well have needed last couple of runs after a short break, but shaped much better on latest start and handicapper is relenting quickly. Now 3lb lower than last win and any money would make him interesting.
Bounced right back to form when making all at Wolverhampton on his latest start (6f) and just a 3lb rise for that, leaving him well handicapped on old form. Drop back to 5f probably not ideal however, and may be vulnerable.
Holds no secrets from the handicapper and although often placed, wins are few and far between. Not seen since November and may need this, as wins tend to come within a week of last being seen out.
Kept busy over the last 12 months and finally got his head in front again when winning over C&D two starts back. Not disgraced latest but may be happier a grade down from today.
No win since 2015 and hasn't looked like adding to that recently, although Chelmsford effort in January shows there's still something there when it all falls right. Yard still struggling for winners, and there look to better options.

Forecasts
Horsforth (11/4), Compton River (3/1), Bahango (4/1), Ambitious Icarus (9/2), Top of The Bank (11/2), Windforpower (7/1), Entertaining Ben (11/1), Socialites Red (14/1)
This should be run at a decent pace, with two or three front runners in attendance, and that may suit BAHANGO who did well on his latest start at Wolverhampton and has plenty in his favour trip and track wise. It's wide open for the places, with the consistent Horsforth , Compton River and Entertaining Ben all making plenty of appeal. Money for the last-named would warrant a second look at him, having shaped well last time out.
