Down Royal winner penultimate start, quickly turned out again at Fairyhouse under penalty and travelled promisingly before finishing third. That may have come too soon.
Winner of three-mile handicap hurdle at Clonmel in October, decidedly poor since that including previous run over this trip at Naas in November. Off since poor Leopardstown effort at Christmas.
Uncompetitive in three maiden hurdles at this sort of distance, could easily do a lot better now sent handicapping.
Doesn't appeal off current handicap mark and hasn't shown much in three runs already this year.
Made handicap debut in race won by Camlann at Down Royal in January, better at the weights now but big job to turn form around.
Has gone close in maidens in the past, off the track almost a year but dangerous to discount off this mark on return.
Well held on handicap debut at Fairyhouse last month over this trip, remains lightly raced but others preferred here.
Improved effort over three-miles at Fairyhouse on handicap bow in January sporting first-time blinkers (retained here), drop in trip ought to help and feasibly treated.
Unable to threaten on handicap bow over two-miles at this track a fortnight ago, upped in trip now as he aims to get competitive.
Easily fended off in four maiden hurdles outings so far, handicap debut today and going up in trip. Assessor has given him some hope and notable jockey booking.
Emptied very quickly in the home straight at Clonmel over two-miles last month. Prior efforts had been full of potential so might be best to forgive that run.
More than 500-days since he ran, previous form over hurdles would leave him with plenty to find even if stripping fit enough to do himself justice.

Forecasts
Camlann (9/4), Monastic (5/1), Like A Demon (7/1), Close Shave (7/1), Bilbo Bagins (8/1), Crehelp (8/1), Dontbackme (11/1), Dubai Devils (14/1), Thekingofrocknroll (14/1), Canadian Steel (16/1), War Of The Pennys (25/1), For Freddie (25/1), Redoute Star (40/1)
Close Shave is one to look out for now handicapping and any market support would certainly make him interesting given jockey booking and a trainer going well. Canadian Steel is another handicap debutant and he may be on a lenient mark for this while Like A Demon will surely prove his latest Clonmel effort to have been subpar. Camlann may have found his Fairyhouse run came too quickly off the Down Royal win previously and is a leading contender now but a chance is taken on the returning DUBAI DEVILS. He has gone close in maidens before and looks to be on a workable mark now returning from almost a year off.
- Dubai Devils
- Camlann
- Like A Demon
