Tends to race prominently in his races, and made all on latest start when taking a Class 3 handicap hurdle at Fontwell, finding plenty for pressure at the finish. Chase debut today though, and this looks a tough race to be pitched in at.
Has ability, but hard to win with, as his record of 1-19 demonstrates. Not beaten far on any of his last three starts though, and gives the impression another win isn't far away. Chase debut today, and this trip on the short side for him, but bred to jump fences and may go well.
Won a novice hurdle last year, and was also successful on her chase debut at Huntingdon, narrowly winning a limited handicap (ran on well) but looked booked for the places at best when coming down on latest start at Wincanton. Chance if that hasn't affected her confidence.
Bred to be useful over fences, but it's not really happened in four starts for current yard, although has always been a big price taking some good quality horses on. Mark is falling quickly now and this is more realistic, but still a bit to prove at present.
Regressive for a year now, and still a maiden after 18 attempts, but has shown the odd bit of form and ran as well as could have been expected at Leicester recently. Back over fences today, and technique not always perfect, so has a bit to do to get involved.
A chance is taken on CITY SUPREME on his chasing debut. Although this trip may prove on the short side, Mr Fitzroy should ensure there's no hanging about, which should help his cause. He should do better over fences than hurdles and looks on a reasonable mark. Bagging Turf can prove the main danger if her confidence hasn't taken a knock after her fall last time, and the aforementioned Mr Fitzroy can hold on for third.
