Very classy handicap chaser at his peak, showing a liking for Cheltenham by winning there twice in the 2014/2015 season but was never the most consistent. Needed most recent effort when only fifth at Taunton in January, but holds a class advantage over this field. Handles soft ground.
Useful chaser for NIgel Twiston-Davies and latterly David Bridgewater, rated 139 at his peak after a win over fences at Haydock back in 2014, but lost his way last year. New yard do well with others castoffs, and if they can turn him around, he wouldn't be without some hope.
Not disgraced when finishing midfield in the Foxhunters at the Festival last year, beaten just under 15L, and has performed well in two of his three starts for his new yard, finishing second in a Ladies Open at Chaddesley Corbett on latest start. Stays well.
Winner of two point-to-points last year (both on good ground) but showed very little at Lingfield on Monday, finishing well beaten in fifth after some poor jumping. Ground here again raises a question, but he simply doesn't look good enough regardless..
Forecasts
Mon Parrain (1/3), Current Exchange (5/1), According To Trev (6/1), Only Time'll Tell (20/1), Featherintheattic (50/1)
Only really three that count. MON PARRAIN should come on for that recent Taunton run and if on a going day, looks the one to beat. If the rain does come, it'll help the chances of Current Exchange and be against the selection, so keep an eye on the weather. According To Trev would have needed his recent run and can do better here.
