Ran a blinder from a poor draw at Kempton last time out but may simply have benefited from the way a poor race panned out. That was the first time in 14 outings that he had managed to make the frame, so he makes limited appeal. However, this is another modest contest, so one to watch in the betting with an apprentice on board with a bright future.
Won a low grade handicap over C&D in December but has subsequently reverted to type and ran no sort of race at Chelmsford last time. The form of that race has already taken a couple of knocks, so he isn't difficult to leave out of the equation this time around. The return to this track is a plus though.
Course winner that hasn't got his head in front since 2014. Unplaced on last 14 starts, 11 of those for this yard but has a good draw at least. That could prove irrelevant if he blows his chance from the stalls once again though.
Her form may be modest but it actually reads a lot better than that of many of her rivals. She acts well at this track and this is just about her grade, so she holds stronger claims than some.
Below form effort last time out, but he had previously looked capable at this level. He is worth another chance in a race of this nature and should be thereabouts if he can put in a similar effort to the one he posted in a near miss over C&D last month
Notable that 6 of his 7 starts on the AW have come at Newcastle and made the frame on a couple of occasions. Poor last time out here though and too unreliable to recommend.
Been in poor form since joining his current yard and has plenty to find with the likes of Mr Chuckles judging by their encounter at Kempton. Hard to see that form being reversed here.
May have needed the outing on his reappearance over C&D earlier this month as he never managed to get competitive. Usually needs a couple of runs after a break and may be best watched this time.
Has won off an 11lb higher mark in the past, but, having raced on average at least once a month since last February, there have been a few too many disappointing efforts posted in the intervening period.
Consistent at his own level but has a bit to find with Tasaboq so needs everything to go his way. Difficult to recommend this time around.
Has won at this course in the past (over 5f back in 2013) but it's been a while since he showed any glimpse of a return to form, so looks one to be wary until he shows some improvement. Recently switched yards but has yet to trouble the judge since the move.

Forecasts
Pick Of Any (2/1), Ambitious Boy (9/2), Prince of Time (5/1), Mr Chuckles (7/1), Ocotillo (7/1), National Service (9/1), Presto Boy (11/1), Tasaaboq (11/1), Lizzy's Dream (14/1), Nefetari (14/1), Whispering Soul (33/1), Rat Catcher (33/1), Pull The Pin (66/1)
With solid form being thin on the ground, a chance is taken that MR CHUCKLES can make the most of what looks a fair opportunity for him to shine. He needs to banish the memory of a poor effort last time out and will need to be on his A-game to fend off the likes of Prince Of Time and Pick Of Any, who look to be the most likely candidates to spoil the party. b>Whispering Soul may prove to be some each-way value.
1. Mr Chuckles
2. Prince of Time
3. Whispering Soul
