Well beaten on his debut for current yard at Newcastle over this trip at the end of last month. Has only shown glimpses of form since winning a seven runner handicap at Epsom on soft ground last April but races off a 9lb lower mark here and won off much higher marks in the past.

Winner off a 6lb higher mark at Ayr last August but well held since including here last time out. Won off this mark over C&D back in November 2014 and dangerous to write off despite recent lull in form.

Had just five outings since winning at Kempton 12 months ago. Well beaten the last twice at the same venue and at Southwell last time out. Handicap mark is slipping and now back to his last winning mark with a decent jockey up.

10/1
Well beaten on all six starts since joining his current stable and started a triple figure price at Southwell last month. Now rated 8lb lower than his last winning mark on turf at Brighton last August and a top jockey booked. Worth a check in the market.

Consistent sort who's finished outside the first two just once in his last nine starts. Finished runner-up beaten less than 2L over C&D when last seen out two months ago and though he races off a 2lb higher mark here (7lb higher than for his most recent success here in November) he looks likely to run well once more.

Winner of a maiden over C&D in October and stepped up on his debut for this yard when finishing fourth over 6f at Lingfield earlier this month. Won off a 2lb lower mark at Chelmsford in October and every chance of running well again here.

Winner over C&D on his penultimate start last month and followed that up by finishing runner-up off his revised mark (4lb higher) at Chelmsford at the start of this month. Races off the same mark here with his regular useful apprentice rider again taking the ride.

Placed off a 1lb higher mark over C&D last month and since run well in finishing second in a claimer and a seller over this trip at Southwell. Now rated 3lb lower than for his latest success but that did come 14 months ago but he remains of interest in this.

Winner off this mark on turf at Salisbury in June but generally disappointing since and well held on debut for this yard when last of 14 at Newcastle on his return from a 3 month absence last time out. Will need to bounce back to figure in this.

All nine wins have come on the AW including at Lingfield at the end of December. That success came off an 8lb lower mark but he's run well in finishing runner-up twice since and he missed the break when finishing fifth over C&D earlier this week. Chances if getting away on terms.

Dreams Of Glory19
Age: 9|  Weight: 9-0| J: L Morris| T: R J Hodges| OR:  68
15/2
Winner of his penultimate start over C&D in early January and beaten just 1¾L when finishing fifth at Lingfield over 6f subsequently. All twelve victories have come off lower marks however but likely to run his race here.

Forecasts

You're Cool (3/1), Compton River (9/2), Normal Equilibrium (11/2), Dreams Of Glory (15/2), Invincible Ridge (9/1), Miracle Garden (10/1), King Crimson (10/1), Waneen (12/1), Temple Road (14/1), Entertaining Ben (22/1), Archie Stevens (28/1)

Verdict

TEMPLE ROAD has been running well of late and is one of the few in here who likes to come from off the pace. The selection was beaten 2L last time out over this C&D and while he races off a mark 8lb higher than for his last win at Lingfield nearly two months ago he finished runner-up off a 3lb lower mark on his penultimate start and can get the better of King Crimson who has been held up in all his starts to date for his current yard and who looks well handicapped on his old form while Compton River is well berthed here and is taken to fair best of those racing close to the pace and can hang on for third. 1. Temple Road 2. King Crimson 3. Compton River
