Purchased for £140,000 as a yearling in 2015 out of a listed-placed mare. Making his debut here for a yard with a 38% (24/63) strike rate in races of this nature and has to be respected on debut.
Easily brushed aside when making his debut here last month but shaped much better when finishing upped to this trip for the first time at Lingfield a fortnight later. Claims on that form for a yard going well at present (4/9 in recent weeks).
Unraced half-brother to Group 3-placed two-year-old Sara Lucille (also a winner over 5f and placed at up to 7f). Makes his belated debut (wearing a hood) here for connections who have a 17% strike rate (8/46) in this type of race here in recent seasons.
Unraced half-brother to useful sprinter Glass Office amongst others and cost 25,000gns as a yearling in 2015. Makes his belated debut here for a yard who are out of form currently (0/20).
Purchased for 200,000 Euros at the sales in May 2016. and a half-brother to Flat and hurdles winner Hurler And Farmer. Both yards recent runners have won and worth a check in the market.
Sent off a big priced for his debut at Lingfield last month and trailed home eighth of the ten runners having been outpaced at a crucial point. Interesting to see how he fares here but likely to prove better in time.
Form of her debut fifth in a small field maiden at Newmarket in August looks strong with the winner scoring in Group 1 company subsequently and the fourth in a Group 3 event. Subsequent fifth also came in what looks a good maiden on paper and she looks likely to run well coming off a near six month break.
Bought for 16,000 Euros as a yearling and is a half-sister to mile handicap winner Kubali. Yard has a 17% strike rate (3/18) in recent weeks and she is worth a check in the market.
Forecasts
Chippenham (11/4), Solajan (3/1), Magic Pass (9/2), Dark Titan (11/2), Forest Angel (13/2), Willwams (14/1), Oxford Don (16/1), Secret Salvage (33/1)
The form of the two maiden's that Forest Angel contested last August is working out very well indeed and she can get off the mark at the third time of asking here with a top jockey booked to ride. The selection can put her previous racecourse experience to good use by defeating the well-bred Chippenham while another with experience Dark Titan can claim third place here.
1. Forest Angel
2. Chippenham
3. Dark Titan
