Did the job nicely to score first AW win at Lingfield over this trip at the start of the month. Has every chance of following up back in handicap company off a fair mark.
C&D winner September 2015, hasn't shaped with a lot of promise in two starts for this trainer since returning from long layoff.
Previous C&D winner, out of sorts recently though did make some late headway here last month. Looks to be in the handicapper's clutches at the moment.
Filly was a never-nearer third of 11 over 1m3f at this track early this month, entitled to get involved for same claimer if in the same mood now.
Hasn't won since 2013 and most recent effort at Lingfield over this trip was not inspiring.
Three-time C&D winner probably requires a career-best to get the job done this evening and has been below form of late.
Previous C&D winner has been out of sorts recently, though did make some late progress over this trip at Wolverhampton last time and is slipping to a workable mark.
Lightly raced maiden ran best race to date on first start for this trainer over this trip at Wolverhampton last month. Perfectly entitled to build on that effort and be competitive in this contest.
Forecasts
Darebin (9/4), Langlauf (4/1), Askari (4/1), Take Two (8/1), Safira Menina (11/1), Included (12/1), Sandy Cove (12/1), Obboorr (12/1)
Askari made a notable start for current connections at Wolverhampton last month and has plenty scope to do better. He is respected while Langlauf was doing well at the finish under today's rider over a shorter trip at this track last time and is another worthy of consideration. There was plenty to like about the manner in which DAREBIN picked up the leader to score at Lingfield over this trip recently however. Having travelled strongly, he readily went past and the pair were a long way clear, now back in handicaps he might well have more to offer. Plenty of the remainder can hold some form of claim on best form but are out of sorts, Obboorr made late progress at Wolverhampton recently and is below his previous winning mark.
1. Darebin
2. Askari
3. Langlauf
