Age: 4|  Weight: 11-5| J: Lizzie Kelly(3)| T: Nick Williams| OR:  130
2/1
Winner of a juvenile hurdle on debut at Uttoxeter in July but disappointing favourite twice subsequently prior to finishing second (the pair left clear by a last flight faller) to Defi Du Seuil in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham in November. Returns from a break and a rare runner for the yard (1/2) at this track.

16/1
Signs of ability in three maiden outings on the flat and purchased for 27,000gns by this yard last October. Burst blood vessel's on his hurdling debut at Ffos Las and has been over for over two months since. Likely best watched at present.

Modest handicapper on the flat and well beaten on hurdling debut at Huntingdon last month. Likely to fair better in handicaps.

100/1
Improved on his pulled up effort on hurdling debut when finishing a modest fourth at Wetherby last time out. Usseful conditional jockey in the saddle once more though yard have a poor record with their runners here in recent years (0/7).
Sole win in 16 flat outings came in a class six event at Kempton in early November. Disappointing in the main and best watched on his first attempt at hurdling.
Useful handicapper on the flat winning off a mark of 94 at Goodwodo back in October. Made his hurdling debut in a listed event at Musselburgh earlier this month and shaped well in that, drops in grade here and likely to go well for a top yard.

3/1
Placed twice over hurdles in France for his previous trainer and best effort since switching to current yard when finishing runner-up (the pair well clear) on soft ground at Bangor last month. Represents top connections and trainer has a 21% strike rate (23/107) here in recent seasons.
Maiden after nine career outings on the flat. Best efforts have come over a mile though has placed over 1m2f in the past. Yard have a 33% strike rate (3/9) here and worth a check in the market on her hurdling debut.

Forecasts

Soldier In Action (1/1), Diable De Sivola (2/1), Timoteo (3/1), Attest (16/1), Apache Song (33/1), Mr Marchwood (80/1), Head High (100/1), Jonofark (100/1)

Verdict

DIABLE DE SIVOLA wasn't beaten far in a Grade 2 contest when last seen out back in November. The selection has been given a break since and while he had disappointed in his two previous starts that form looks to be the best on offer here with the winner successful since and the final hurdle faller also winning in the meantime. Soldier In Action was a useful handicapper on the flat and can step up on his Musselburgh hurdling debut by claiming second here for his top yard while Timoteo can claim third. 1. Diable De Sivola 2. Soldier In Action 3. Timoteo
