Two starts in bumpers so far with the best of them coming on debut at Newcastle when third and only giving best late on. Failed to follow that up at Sedgefield last time out when running on a quicker surface. Breeding suggests he needs a good test of stamina and should fare better over hurdles in the future.

10/1
First foal by Presenting with the dam a bumper winner and sister to high-class hurdler/chaser Whisper. Yard are 1/84 in the last five season in bumpers.
3
Horse silk
7/2
Just the one run in bumpers so far and showed promise with a debut second at Bangor to Just A Sting. Shaped well despite not getting the run of the race (hampered at end of back straight) and running on well although showing a fair amount of inexperience and expected to show the benefit of that run here.
4
Horse silk
6/4
Cost €68,000 as a three-year-old and has a couple of fair relations in his pedigree. Yard have a good record in this sphere (29% strike-rate in last five seasons) but this is a rare bumper runner at the track for the yard.
5
Horse silk
33/1
Second foal of an unraced dam by Darsi who has a tongue toe on for his debut. Yard are one 1/8 in bumpers at Carlisle.
6
Horse silk
18/1
Cost £6,000 as a three-year-old out of a dam who ran once over hurdles. First bumper runner for the yard at Carlisle and only the fourth in total in this sphere.
Winner on debut at Warwick in a bumper at 50/1 staying on far better his principally Flat pedigree suggested. Carries a penalty here and unlikely to get the same favourable conditions as he did last time out and this looks more difficult.

Rare bumper runner from this powerful northern Flat yard who has shown modest form so far in two efforts and still looked very green last time out, failing to build on his debut.

Forecasts

Flemenskill (6/4), Fin And Game (7/2), Arakhan (13/2), Point Of Principle (7/1), Dublin Indemnity (10/1), Blottos (12/1), Royal Act (18/1), Wee Bogus (25/1), Registan (33/1)

Verdict

Quite a decent bumper to conclude the card, with Warren Greatrex making a rare foray to Carlisle for a bumper with his unraced Flemenskill and he faces some good opposition with both Point Of Principle and FIN AND GAME setting a good standard. Fin And Game didn’t get the run of the race on his debut and ran very green; he’ll know more this time around. Blottos could do with a greater test of stamina and may struggle around this sharp track while Arakhan needs to come on again for his two rather modest runs so far. 1. Fin And Game 2. Flemenskill 3. Point Of Principle
