Building quite a reputation for himself and had zero problems winning Grade Two over two-miles at Naas last month after a ten-month layoff. Exciting prospect likely to take some beating again upped in trip.
Just seems to lack the class of some of his illustrious stable companions, hard to fault recent fourth in valuable Leopardstown handicap over two-miles and likely to go well again upped in trip.
Racked up a hat-trick early this season, plying his trade in graded company since, doing well enough without winning. Navan second behind Snow Falcon at this trip in November merits respect.
A very smart staying hurdler in his prime, now giving off all the signals that those best days may be in the past.
Has found graded races over three-miles too hot twice recently, falling latest at Gowran Park last month. Makes little appeal in a talented field.
Coming off a Flat campaign when chasing home Jezki over two-miles last month, upped in trip and commands respect having earned the nod from champion jockey.
A smart performer in his own right, he was firmly put in his box by Sutton Place last time out. They go up in trip now but that form should be upheld.
Not the most consistent sort, has plenty to prove with some of these rivals on the formbook and hard to see it turning around.
Has rather lost his way, did somewhat better last time for switch back to hurdling but no match for Sutton Place and Supasundae.
Forecasts
Sutton Place (4/6), Renneti (9/2), Supasundae (6/1), De Plotting Shed (13/2), Thomas Hobson (12/1), Dedigout (25/1), Ttebbob (33/1), Taglietelle (66/1), Milsean (66/1)
SUTTON PLACE made light work of his task at Naas last month to extend his winning run on the back of a layoff. Fitter now, the step up in trip shouldn't inconvenience him and he looks to be going places. With more progress likely, he's fancied to make it five wins from six starts in his career. Renneti enjoyed a good Flat campaign and lost little caste in finishing second to Jezki on his return to hurdling. He is the choice of the champion jockey from two Closutton entries so must be respected. Supasundae was no match for Sutton Place last time but should run well while De Plotting Shed has been just shy at graded level so far but is capable of threatening the places. Thomas Hobson is perhaps the best of the remainder at this stage.
1. Sutton Place
2. Renneti
3. Supasundae
