Betway Sprint Handicap

Has run some solid races over C&D in his last three starts although he is a rather quirky sort and has to be delivered at the right time. Capable of much better form in the past but this is his level nowadays.

Just the one run last year for Richard Fahey in a Wolverhampton 6f claimer and now starts out for a new yard after a significant absence. Has only won a 5f Thirsk maiden in her career as a juvenile and even off a declining mark faces a tough start on her first run as a four-year-old.

AW regular who has won on a variety of synthetic surfaces but hasn't seen the winners' enclosure for a year. Steadily dropping in the weights though and showed that there was some ability there when running a better race at Southwell last time out.

Both AW wins have come over this trip and ran better than for a while last time out at Lingfield over C&D. Handicapper drops him a further 2lb here and off a decreased mark he may be able to build on his last time out performance.

Both AW wins (one over C&D) have come off higher marks but the last of those wins came over a year ago. Well below form last time when finishing last over C&D.

Capable sort who is an AW winner on six occasions (best at Kempton Park) over 6f. Latest win came a year ago over this C&D off a mark of 61. In decent form of late and can be excused his run last time out at Chelmsford (course doesn't suit him) although he can be slow away, he's hard to write off.

Capable of some fair form but well below his best on his last three starts at Southwell and Newcastle, the last two starts coming over a mile. Ridden far too aggressively by an inexperienced apprentice last time out (has another inexperienced pilot on board here) and is now only a 1lb higher than his last winning mark.

Dual winner in January at Kempton Park over 6-7f off lowly marks and beaten off higher marks in two starts since. Raced very freely last time out which spoilt his chance and needs to settle better today to have a chance off a mark which he's looked held in his last two starts.

Fair handicapper on both AW and turf winning twice last year, once on each surface. Has run respectably on most starts since (last four runs over 5f all at Lingfield) but can operate over 6f also. Handicapper has dropped him 4lb for his last run over 5f here and that looks generous considering he met some interference, although he's probably better over 5f, he has a chance over this longer trip.

Shown very little ability so far, unplaced on last 15 starts and operating from out of the handicap.
