Useful stayer on his day but that day is becoming harder to predict and this trip is probably short enough. Nature of the track should suit as he's galloping type but plenty arrive in better form.
Makes AW debut and has a good strike rate on turf but probably not bred for this surface and may need this returning from an absence.
Out of form of late and still not particularly well handicapped on his best efforts but is proven on the surface at least, having won at Wolverhampton. Break needs to have freshened him up.
Back to form recently and well-handicapped on some of his earlier wins in his career (won at Listed level). Likes to race close to the pace though so he may be vulnerable to closers around this course and was a beaten favourite last time out.
Useful dual purpose performer but not won on the Flat for nearly two years and zero from seven on the AW. Market can reveal expectations.
In fine form of late and goes in search of a four-timer here. His running style makes him difficult to get hold of as far as the handicapper is concerned and this track will play to his strengths. Tough to oppose.
On a poor run of form when last seen and yet to score on the AW. May need this run after a break but may get an easy lead from a handy draw.
Another who likes to be up with the pace and record on the Flat has been patchy since recording back-to-back wins on the AW last January. Likely to need this but any market move would be significant.
Two wins from seven starts. Progress appeared to be slowing down when last seen and doesn't look the most straightforward type. Market likely to reveal whether he's ready to go after an absence.

Forecasts
Petite Jack (2/1), Sennockian Star (11/4), Dolphin Village (11/2), Euchen Glen (7/1), John Reel (8/1), Hamelin (11/1), Cape Of Glory (16/1), Fattsota (16/1), Mistiroc (20/1), Buthelezi (50/1)
The handicapper may have a job on his hands getting a grip of PETITE JACK and he has a fine chance of landing a four-timer at a course that should play to his strengths. Sennockian Star is another in fine form but may face a battle for the lead while Euchen Glen has shown plenty of promise and any market support would be interesting.
