Winner of two of his three outings over hurdles and found plenty for pressure when seeing off two higher rated rivals in a novices event at Bangor last time out. Drop down to 2m5f shouldn't inconvenience him and while likely to go well again this could be tougher with a penalty to carry for that success.
Yet to win in 13 career outings but made the frame in a big field novices handicap when last seen out at Wetherby in december. Yard hasn't had a winner over obstacles since last may.
Stepped up on previous runs when beaten less than three lengths at Market Rasen last month and interesting to see if he can repeat that effort here.

STORM FORECAST can register his first hurdling success on his belated seasonal debut here. The selection finished runner-up over two miles when last seen out but shaped as if this step up in trip would suit and has already won at this venue having taken a bumper here on his second career start, he hails from a decent yard who have a 29% strike rate (30/103) here and have had a couple of winners of late and he can get the better of the top weight Gray Day who may well try and make all while Bollin Ace who performed with credit in a competitive handicap last time out can claim third.
