Three time winner who ran well when finishing third over 1m4f here a fortnight ago. That marked a significant return to form having been well beaten on turf and AW since finishing third at Chelmsford a year ago. Likely to go well again in this.
Finished nine lengths behind Afonso De Sousa when hampered at a crucial point here two weeks ago but he'd been out of form prior to that and remains on a mark 1lb higher than for his last success.
Five of his six AW wins have come at Southwell though his most recent success came in this event 12 months ago. Wasn't beaten far at Newcastle on his penultimate outing and one to note as he goes in search of his second win in this race.
Twice finished close-up behind an in form rival in competitive handicaps last month. Latest of those came at this track and interesting to see how he fares returning to 1m4f here for a stable with a 24% (6/25) strike rate in recent weeks.
Beaten two lengths behind a subsequent winner on his return to the AW at Kempton last month. Successful twice on turf last summer but has to defy a career high mark if she's to be successful here.
Well beaten on his debut for this yard and first outing in 15 months over C&D last time out. Dropped 3lb for that run but likely best watched at present.
Winner over C&D back in 2015 but lightly raced since. Had just one start in 2016 when finishing runner-up over two miles at Kempton in march and returns from a break here with the hood applied for the first time.
Finished runner-up at Southwell over 1m3f last time out. Yet to race over this trip but kept on well on that occasion and won off an 11lb higher mark over significantly shorter in the past.

MICA MIKA has shaped as if he'd appreciate further on the AW when finishing third the last twice. Representing an in form yard the gelding finished a close up third off this mark here in a Class 3 event last month and takes a drop in grade here with the jockey booking another positive to his chance in this having been ridden by an apprentice the last twice. Afonso De Sousa returned to form when finishing third here a fortnight ago and while both of his wins since his debut maiden success have come in conditions events he's now rated 15lb lower than when finishing third at Chelmsford 12 months ago while last years winner Royal Marskell is also to be respected despite his recent moderate runs.
