Registered his fifth win here when taking a conditions event here last month. Winner of two of his last three outings but concern that both of those were conditions events though he did run well to be second off a 4lb lower mark over C&D in november.
Useful horse on his day and showed that he retains plenty of ability when beaten less than two lengths over C&D a fortnight ago. Races off the same mark here and likely to go well again.
Winner of his last three outings here including over this C&D a month ago. Appeared to have a bit in hand that day and a 6lb rise may not be enough to stop him following up here.
Winner of his penultimate outing over 7f at Kempton last month and followed that by finishing runner-up over the same C&D next time out. Has been upped 1lb for that outing and hasn't raced over this far since finishing third at Windsor in may 2015.
Out of form prior to finishing a short head second at Chelmsford last time out but was likely hampered by losing a shoe during the race on that occasion.. AW mark is falling fapidly at present and won this event off an 8lb higher mark last year so has to be respected with a capable apprentice taking a further 7lb off.
Winner off a 5lb lower mark at Kempton two months ago but well held on two subsequent outings include at that venue last time out. Dropped just 1lb for that defeat and looks likely to need some help from the assessor before getting his head in front once more.

INTRANSIGENT can register a first success over this trip by taking what looks on paper a competitive handicap. The selection was registering a first success in over two years when scoring on that occasion but ran well off his revised mark next time out. He's just a pound higher here and likes to race prominently which may be to his advantage with all bar one of his rivals having been ridden with restraint on their most recent starts. The in form My Target goes in search of his hat-trick here and can fill the runner-up berth while Lunar Deity is another worth noting off a significantly lower mark than when taking this race last year.
